Huey’s story

Photograph of Huey the cat sleeping with his head upside down.

I’ve always liked black-and-white cats and when I saw this tiny little kitten that only weighed 1 lb. at the shelter I had to get him. He was so cute and little and cried so much I called him ‘Baby Huey.’ I adopted him when he was only five weeks old, he is now 10 years old. Huey is the most loving, person-oriented cat I’ve ever had. He goes to the door when the doorbell rings, lies in everyone’s lap at parties and thinks he is really a person.
