Nala

Photograph of NalaI had a cat named Daisy for 11 years and had raised her since she was a kitten. She was a Maine Coon and weighed 16 lbs - big cat! Her mother had been my grandmother's cat, which unfortunately got killed shortly after Daisy's birth. Daisy died in September from a possible seizure, but I still to this day don't know why.

I decided I would adopt another cat. I found Nala - also a Maine Coone - on Craigslist.com. I got cold feet and wasn't sure if I was ready for another cat just yet, so I waited another month. I later found out that Nala was still available and went down to adopt her the following weekend from the Laguna Animal Shelter.

Nala has made herself completely at home on the top of the chair in my living room. She loves chasing her little soccer balls down the hallway and running back into the living room like her tail is on fire! I am very happy with Nala, she's a very good cat.
