Sarah's Story
Sarah,
a 2 year Samoyed, has been a member of our family for only nine
months and we cannot imagine life without her.
When I first met her in the animal shelter, she gently placed
her paw on my arm, looked into my eyes and flashed her Sammy
smile. I immediately fell in love with her. Sarah came to us
housebroken and crate trained. With the help of a private
trainer, she is now an obedience school graduate. I hope to
begin agility training with her this summer.
Sarah is so loving, happy, willful, mischievous, energetic and
silly (as her breed dictates). Everyone who meets her adores
her. She has become a wonderful addition to our family; even our
four cats have begun to tolerate her!
We cannot understand how she came to be homeless in the first
place. We were told that she had been adopted once and returned
because she "didn't share her toys." What we discovered is that
she loves tug-of-war and interactive play which, to a novice dog
owner, might appear to be an unwillingness to "share." The
laughter and love she gives back to us is absolutely priceless.
Thank you so much for our wonderful furry daughter!
J.M.
