Trevor the Triever

Photograph of Nancy giving her dog Trevor a kiss. My Golden Retriever's name is Trevor the Triever. We adopted him in Oct of 1999 to be a companion to our mixed breed female, Witherspoon (Pretty Witty). Trevor was terrified in the shelter. He crawled around on his stomach and only got up to look way out into the distance, probably for his last owner. We tried to walk him to no avail, and my husband ended up carrying him to our truck. When we got Trevor home, he was scared to death of our aggressive female, who tried every which way to take a nice bite out of him. That was impossible because of his thick fur.

Trevor has completely stolen our hearts. He is smart, affectionate, and always very playful. He loves to dance, wrestle, and brings us everything to throw for him. We are very happy with Trevor and hope he has a long happy life with us. We highly recommend visiting your local shelter & giving some wonderful animal like Trevor the Triever a chance to make you as happy as we are.
